　　CCTV News:At today’s (May 8) press conference, the Ministry of Civil Affairs introduced that since March this year, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has established a monitoring and early warning mechanism for illegal social organizations, and strengthened clue investigation, information collection and online governance. At present, 35 batches of clues about illegal social organizations have been investigated, totaling 216.

　　Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has shut down two batches of websites of illegal social organizations, totaling 20; Expose the second and third batch of suspected illegal social organizations in 2021, totaling 21; Announced two batches of lists of some illegal social organizations banned by local civil affairs departments according to law, totaling 160.

　　The Ministry of Civil Affairs said that the next step is to continue to focus on cracking down on the following five types of illegal social organizations:

　　Illegal social organizations that use the name of national strategy to operate in the fields of economy, culture and charity;

　　An illegal social organization that uses the words "China", "China" and "country", or in the name of a subordinate institution of a state organ or institution, engages in activities such as defrauding money and accumulating wealth;

　　Illegal social organizations that are linked with legally registered social organizations to carry out activities and are insincere;

　　An illegal social organization that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to carry out selection and awards activities;

　　Illegal social organizations that carry out pseudo-health, pseudo-Chinese studies and mysticism activities, as well as activities under the guise of religion.
