Many people with lofty ideals have made many arduous attempts and explorations, but they have failed to change the social nature of old China and the tragic fate of the people of China. At a critical juncture, the Communist Party of China (CPC) came into being, and since then hundreds of millions of people have had the backbone. The birth of the Communist Party of China (CPC) marked the beginning of Marxism–Leninism’s integration with China’s revolutionary reality, and the communist movement began to flourish in China. The "Red Boat Spirit" marks the starting point of our Party’s independent exploration of China’s revolutionary road, and plays an important role in the history of the Party.

The "Red Boat Spirit" is rooted in the great practice of the Party’s founding, is the source of the Party’s progressiveness, and is of tracing significance to China’s revolutionary spirit. It is with the "Red Boat Spirit" as its internal source and logical starting point that our party has cultivated and formed a series of great revolutionary spirits that show the nature of Marxist political parties, such as Jinggangshan spirit, Long March spirit, Yan ‘an spirit, Xibaipo spirit, Daqing spirit and "two bombs and one satellite" spirit. These spirits not only come down in one continuous line, but also keep pace with the times. They always run through the main line of innovation, struggle and dedication contained in the "Red Boat Spirit", and jointly build an ideological monument of our party that never forgets history, reflects reality and reflects the future, guiding us to overcome all kinds of difficulties and risks on the way forward and constantly win new victories.
"Red Boat Spirit" highlights the pursuit of value for the people. General Secretary of the Supreme Leader emphasized that upholding the principle of building the Party for the public and governing for the people and always maintaining the flesh-and-blood ties between the Party and the people are the inherent political qualities and the highest political ethics of the Marxist ruling party and the fundamental yardstick for measuring the Party’s advanced nature. When our party was born on the South Lake Red Boat, it deeply engraved the word "people" on its own banner, and publicly declared that it had no special interests except the interests of the working class and the overwhelming majority of the people. A major party program of the Party pointed out that "the proletariat revolutionary army overthrew the bourgeoisie and the working class rebuilt the country". When Socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era, the Party will lead the people to achieve the grand goal set by the 19th National Congress and build China into a prosperous, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist modern power. However, "those who travel a hundred miles are half ninety", and there are still many "snow-capped mountains and grasslands" and "Loushan dangerous pass" on the way forward, which can by no means be achieved easily and with gongs and drums.
